This is the biggest IDE/PATA HDD ever released, and would therefore make an ideal upgrade for an IDE only device such as a PVR or a games console (PS2 or Xbox?) or an older PC, a good expansion option for an IDE external enclosure, a PC where all SATA ports have been used up, or any other situation where only the biggest IDE drive will cut it.

This has been used as a storage drive in my PC, and has been fully tested, with no errors or bad clusters/sectors at all. It has a remaining warranty from Seagate until August 2012.
