Volunteer Befrienders needed in Hammersmith and Fulham!
Location: Hammersmith and Fulham
5th July 10 | 11:02
Do you live near or in Hammersmith and Fulham?
Could you give a couple of hours a week to support an isolated older person living in the borough?
Are you friendly, reliable and enjoy the company of older people?

Homeline is a volunteer delivered project at Bishop Creighton House. Volunteer befrienders enable older people to be less isolated and to remain independent in their own homes.

Volunteering varies from providing essential daily telephone contact, helping with paperwork, teaching IT skills, accompanying someone out for a walk or shopping, or becoming a long-term befriender to one or two people. It can take just a few hours a week and makes a big difference.

To find out more, visit our website (where you can download an application form) www.creightonhouse.org , contact Joy Houghton-Brown at Bishop Creighton House on 020 7385 9689 or email jhoughtonbrown@creightonhouse.org

You will receive training, out-of-pocket expenses and a rewarding volunteer role.
