Surveying insects in an urban wood

This free insect survey workshop is part of Embrace Woodlands! project. It is run by Trust for Urban Ecology (TRUE) and Embrace Cooperation Ltd (www.myembrace.org), funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
This workshop will be 12:30pm to 3pm Thursday 10th June and will be run by nature conservation professionals.
The workshop will involve surveying insects in Dulwich Upper Wood (Farquhar Rd, London SE19 1SS) and looking at recording methods.
Including how to use an insect malaise trap to
1) Trap the insects on the survey
2) Demonstrate how to set up / use the trap
3) With participants on the survey to setting up the trap
Drinks & refreshments will be provided but please wear suitable clothing for a woodland environment during spring.
