Free skills courses for LGBT carers
Location: Across London
5th October 09 | 14:30
We are offering FREE courses to LGBT carers. These sessions will help you build on your strengths as a carer, provide an interactive forum for you to share your experiences and learn new tips and skills to help you help the people you care for. Caring comes in many forms and could be anything from cooking meals to simply providing a listening ear, what makes you special is that you want to learn.
Remember, you do not have to be a full time carer or be paid to do so in order to join our free sessions; all you need is motivation.
Refreshments are always provided and we can reimburse your travel costs if necessary.
“PICK N’ MIX” which of our seven inspirational sessions is right for you or attend all seven and our trained staff will provide you with the support and dedication to maximise your potential and allow you to share and network with others.
Private carers save the government a staggering £87bn annually and provide a vital service to our communities. This new programme provides cutting edge training within an LGBT context which understands the further pressures and difficulties this poses.
